Our history

• ​2000: ATCOM is founded by Henrik Asmussen and Michael Thisgaard – both bringing with them 15 years’ experience from the offshore telecommunications sector
• 2000: ATCOM opens an office in Sædding, north of Esbjerg, to accommodate for rapid business growth
• 2003: More engineers are hired in to meet the demand for telecommunications solutions
• 2011: ATCOM moves to new offices in Esbjerg to make room for more team members as business continues to grow
• 2014: ATCOM enters into the specialist field of Maritime Weather Monitoring Systems
• 2017: ATCOM becomes an official Certified Vaisala Service Partner
